# VyprVPN Review

VyprVPN now names US company Certida LLC in its legal terms and supports ten simultaneous connections. Its published 2018 audit should not be mistaken for a new assessment.
## Supported apps
VyprVPN lists apps for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Use the current setup guide for other devices, and confirm the features available in your app before purchasing.
## Protocols and connection options
VyprVPN advertises WireGuard in its apps and documents its Chameleon protocol on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Chameleon is an additional connection option, not a guarantee that a restricted network will permit access.
## Company and jurisdiction
The current terms identify Certida LLC, registered in Texas, United States. The support jurisdiction page also identifies Texas headquarters. Do not rely on older descriptions of VyprVPN as a Swiss-operated service when assessing the current contract.
## Logging and personal data
VyprVPN describes its service as no-log, with VPN sessions not associated with individual users. Its broader privacy notice covers account and website data, so that claim should not be read as collecting no personal information whatsoever.
## Independent audit evidence
The public Leviathan Security Group report is dated November 9, 2018 and concerns the then Golden Frog-operated service. It records findings and fixes from that engagement. It predates the current contracting entity and does not, by itself, verify today’s infrastructure or every later app release.
## Devices, refunds and renewals
Support specifies ten simultaneous active connections, even if you install the app on more devices. Eligible accounts can request refunds within the first 30 days of service; do not assume renewal payments qualify. Apple payments must be refunded through Apple. The legal terms describe recurring automatic renewal unless canceled, so check your renewal amount and billing interval and stop renewal through the channel that billed you.
## Who should consider it?
VyprVPN is worth considering if its app and Chameleon support meet your needs. Assess its current US legal terms and the age of the published audit separately from the product’s historical reputation.
A VPN protects traffic routed through its tunnel; it does not guarantee anonymity or replace HTTPS, secure devices and account protection.

VyprVPN offers WireGuard and its Chameleon obfuscation technology. Its ten-connection allowance suits people protecting several personal devices.
## Who this VPN suits
Obfuscation and protocol choice. Consider the devices you use, the features you need and the length of subscription you are comfortable paying for.
## Plans, pricing and renewal
Choose a term at provider checkout. Displayed with the selected plan at checkout.
A monthly equivalent is the subscription charge spread across the advertised term, not a promise of monthly billing. Promotions, taxes and regional prices can change; check the complete charge and renewal terms on the provider's checkout before paying.
## Devices, platforms and protocols
10 simultaneous connections. Platform coverage: Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux. Protocol options include WireGuard, OpenVPN, Chameleon; availability can differ between apps.
## Features to consider
- Chameleon obfuscation
- WireGuard
- VyprDNS
## Privacy and practical limits
VyprVPN publishes a no-logs policy and information about its independently audited service.
A VPN protects traffic within its tunnel. It does not replace operating-system updates, strong account security or a realistic assessment of who can access your device. Router configurations and browser-only extensions can protect different traffic from a full-device VPN app.
## Refund terms
30 days, subject to the provider's terms. Read the provider's full policy, especially if purchasing through a third-party app store.
## Before you choose
- Obfuscation and protocol support vary by app.
- Check the selected term and renewal amount before purchase.
