IPVanish offers unmetered connections and modern VPN protocols. Its 30-day refund guarantee is limited to first-time website customers buying annual or longer plans.
## Supported apps
IPVanish provides apps for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Apple TV and Fire TV, and setup support for Linux, Chrome OS and compatible routers. Follow the device-specific instructions rather than assuming every setup uses the same app.
## Protocols and connection options
IPVanish lists WireGuard, OpenVPN and IKEv2. Protocol support and optional controls vary by platform.
## Company and jurisdiction
The terms select California law and Los Angeles County venue in the United States. Do not confuse the country of a VPN server with the legal framework of the service.
## Logging and personal data
IPVanish says it does not collect or store VPN browsing activity. Its privacy policy distinguishes local diagnostic connection files on your device from server-side activity logging; support can receive diagnostics if you submit them. Account, payment and website data still have their own processing rules.
## Independent audit evidence
The Trust Center lists an April 2025 Schellman no-logs compliance assessment and an April 2022 Leviathan Security review. The full privacy report is available through the customer account portal. These assessments support a scoped privacy claim, not guaranteed speeds, streaming access or future security.
## Devices, refunds and renewals
Connections are unmetered, but the support policy prohibits multiple-party or non-individual account use. The 30-day money-back guarantee is for first-time website signups on annual or longer plans. Monthly plans, renewals and returning subscribers are not eligible under the published support policy. Mobile-store and Amazon purchases have separate conditions. Auto-renewing plans charge the then-current renewal price; support advises canceling at least 24 hours before the current service period ends.
## Who should consider it?
IPVanish is worth comparing when you have many personal devices. A monthly subscription does not come with the annual plan’s refund protection, so choose the billing term deliberately.
A VPN protects traffic routed through its tunnel; it does not guarantee anonymity or replace HTTPS, secure devices and account protection.

IPVanish's Essential tier offers unlimited simultaneous devices and WireGuard. Higher tiers bundle additional services, so compare the tier as well as the advertised price.
## Who this VPN suits
Unlimited household connections. Consider the devices you use, the features you need and the length of subscription you are comfortable paying for.
## Plans, pricing and renewal
$2.19 per month equivalent — Essential · first 24 months. The quoted upfront charge is $52.56 USD. The provider displays the applicable renewal amount during checkout.
A monthly equivalent is the subscription charge spread across the advertised term, not a promise of monthly billing. Promotions, taxes and regional prices can change; check the complete charge and renewal terms on the provider's checkout before paying.
## Devices, platforms and protocols
Unlimited simultaneous devices. Platform coverage: Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux. Protocol options include WireGuard, OpenVPN, IKEv2; availability can differ between apps.
## Features to consider
- Unlimited connections
- WireGuard
- Split tunneling on supported apps
## Privacy and practical limits
IPVanish publishes a no-logs policy. Account and billing data remain distinct from its statements about VPN traffic.
A VPN protects traffic within its tunnel. It does not replace operating-system updates, strong account security or a realistic assessment of who can access your device. Router configurations and browser-only extensions can protect different traffic from a full-device VPN app.
## Refund terms
30 days on eligible yearly and two-year subscriptions; monthly terms differ. Read the provider's full policy, especially if purchasing through a third-party app store.
## Before you choose
- Monthly subscriptions do not have the same refund offer as long-term plans.
- Bundle features and renewal charges vary by tier.
